Who creates my book?
Kevin writes the story and decides what happens in each illustration, using the details and photos you share. He uses AI image tools to create the artwork from his written direction, then checks and refines the pages. You review the full PDF before printing.
What if I want to change something in the digital draft?
One round of changes to your PDF is included. Read the whole book and send your changes together, with page numbers. We'll send the updated PDF for approval before printing. If you need anything beyond that, talk to Kevin first.
How long does it take?
Allow 3-5 days for the first PDF after payment and a complete brief. We print and deliver after you approve it. Revisions and destination affect the total time. If you need it for a particular date, email us before ordering.
Can I cancel my order?
Yes. Cancel for a full refund any time before printing starts—no reason needed, even after you have seen your PDF. Nothing prints without your approval. Once printing starts, we do not normally accept cancellations or change-of-mind returns because each book is made especially for you. Email hello@cantostory.com with your order number.
What if my book arrives damaged or something is wrong?
If your book arrives damaged, has a printing fault, or does not match the PDF you approved, email hello@cantostory.com with your order number and photos of the problem. We will put it right with a free replacement or full refund. See our Terms for the full policy; your rights under applicable consumer law are unaffected.
Do you reuse my photos for marketing?
No. Photos you send us are only used to illustrate your book. They're deleted from our systems within 30 days of order completion, and we never post them publicly without asking you first.
How are my photos used?
Your photos are references for your own book, including AI-assisted illustration. They are not published as marketing without permission. Read our Privacy page for the details of processing, storage and deletion.
Can I order another copy?
For another copy of the same story, email hello@cantostory.com for availability and a quote. The current product is the HK$498 hardcover; other editions are not available to order.
What languages can the book be in?
English, Cantonese (Traditional Chinese) and French. We can also do bilingual layouts — English on one page, 中文 on the facing page. Tell us which combo you'd like.
Do I pay before seeing the PDF?
Yes. You complete your brief and pay first. We then prepare the book and email the full PDF. You can ask for changes or approve it. We only print and deliver after your approval.
Where do you deliver?
Delivery to Hong Kong, Macau and Mainland China is included. For another destination or a specific arrival date, contact hello@cantostory.com before ordering.
Are these customer books and reviews?
The stories shown are studio samples. The Karie cover photograph is an AI-generated hardcover mockup, labelled where shown. The dinosaur comparison is a generated concept demo. These examples are not customer reviews.
