Hi — we’re a small studio. We make every book.
Not a content farm, not a template engine, not a generator with a logo slapped on it. When you order a Canto book, real people ask about the one you love, write their story from scratch, and art-direct every page until it looks like them — their home, their humour, their cat.
We work from Hong Kong. Sabo, the little aviator cat gliding around this site, came out of one of those books: a real, slightly grumpy house cat who got suited up as a fighter pilot because that’s who he obviously was. That’s the job — noticing who someone obviously is, and putting it on paper.
You’ll see everything before it prints. If a page isn’t right, tell us and we’ll fix it ourselves — as many times as it takes. Free. We’d rather redraw a spread than ship a book that almost lands.

Why “Canto”?
A canto is a chapter of a long poem — and in Cantonese, our home language here in Hong Kong, we write it 詠你: an ode to you. Every book is exactly that. One person, sung about properly, in a chapter of their own.
